Background of LL-87/LL-84:
To improve the efficiency of buildings, NYC has implemented several local laws. Penalties for noncompliance are high, and buildings over 50,000 square feet must comply. CEC works to help bring buildings into compliance, giving local business owners the tools and resources they need to realize improved efficiencies and savings.
The Strategy of CEC is to use LL-87 and LL-84 to:
- Help our clientele comply with regulations created by the Department of Buildings.
- Provide recommendations and fuel water/electric analysis for realizing significant savings
- Keep our clients informed to ensure energy conservation, savings and code compliance.
